What is an RTT session?
Come to your RTT session prepared to change! Your subconscious mind is incredibly powerful and once it is on your side you’ll see your self responding differently and making different choices with ease. Every habit of action comes from a habit of thought and in RTT we look at the habits of thought you’ve come up with earlier in your life and replace them with habits of thought you want to live by now.
The process starts with a 20-30 minute call to understand what you’d like to work on and so I can explain the RTT process, discuss hypnotherapy and answer any questions you may have. Then we’ll make a time for your session. At the moment all sessions are conducted online using zoom, an online platform. Normally they are either from my home in Strathmore, Wellington, or based out of Strathean Retreat Centre, Te Horo, or by zoom. Zoom (an online platform) works beautifully and is simple to use. My clients have had just as transformational results using zoom as in person. Many people prefer using zoom as they feel so comfortable in their own home.
The RTT session
The session will be between 1.5-2 hours long. You will drift into a hypnotic state of deep relaxation and be able to access your subconscious. We will look to some memories or past scenes from your life that are related to the issue you want to work on, and see what they have come to represent as beliefs in your life. Then, I will guide you through letting go of that belief and disconnecting you from your association with it. Depending on what arises in your session, I will lead you through suitable healing processes. The session finishes with the transformation where the new beliefs and habits of thought that you describe to me at the beginning of the session, when conscious, will be embedded in your subconscious mind.
The transformation is recorded in your session, together with an introduction that takes you into hypnosis. The personalised recording is yours to keep. Listening to this recording for at least 21 days in a row is an important part of RTT and you must be committed to this to effect change.
We’ll have a short debrief at the end of the session to see how you’re feeling and discuss what came up for you.
After the session
I’ll follow up with you after about 3 days by text to make sure everything is working with the recording and you’re doing well, and then I’ll arrange to have a 15 minute discussion with you after about 10 days. After 3-4 weeks, we’ll have a 30 minute coaching session to assess how the session has changed you and map out your next steps.
Types of change
Changing your subconscious beliefs will change you! Some people feel the change immediately during and after the session, some feel it during the period of listening to the recording and other people notice some months down the track that they have changed and the reason they came to have an RTT session is just not in their lives anymore.
